What is SSSE?
This program was established in India in 1969 was subsequently taken up by the Organization all over the world. This is a unique program of spiritual education for children of devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of SSSE as defined by Baba are:

To raise a generation of boys and girls with a clean and clear conscience.

To guide the children in the spiritual path through simple and moral living.

To install in the young minds the importance of Duty, Devotion and Discipline.

To help them to Love all and Serve all.
-
To help them to grow into worthy citizens, to serve the society, identifying the Divinity present in all.

In short, to raise a generation of torch bearers of Sai ideals.
Major Curriculum Goals

The curriculum includes lesson plans designed for the four age groups. The lesson plans include:

ï‚· Information on the major world religions with emphasis on the Unity of religions – the children learn and

understand the prayers from the major religions.

ï‚· Detailed explanation of the 5 core values, namely Truth, Right conduct, Peace, Love and Non-violence with

examples from the life of Bhagawan Baba and other great personalities who lived an exemplary life based on the

values.

ï‚· Protection and care of Nature and environment and respect for Creation. All these aspects are taught through

established teaching methodologies. (Please refer to the National Curriculum for details)
GROUP 4 PROGRAM
Teens between the ages 15-17 are included in the SSE Group 4 program.
Objectives:
- To strengthen their understanding of and their loving relationship with Swami
- To help them develop self-confidence and self-esteem.
- To instill awareness of gratitude towards their parents, society, nation, creation and the creator.
- To help them in nurturing respect and love for the different races, creeds and perspectives.
- To help them to acquire and utilize life skills at home, at school/University, at work and in the community.
- To help them develop and improve upon their Leadership skills.
- To prepare them to the fullest extent to take up leadership roles within the Sai Organization.
